Dear Friends

Thank you for your prayerful support of the work of Langham Preaching around the world. There is so much for which to be thankful as God does his work among us and through us. Here is one example from Jennifer Cuthbertson, our Coordinator for Facilitator Development, based in Parksville, on Vancouver Island, in Canada.

The Apostle Paul tells the Philippian church that their partnership in the Gospel brings him great joy — joy experienced each time he prays for them. I too experience joy and deep gratitude when I think about and pray for all those who partner with me in this gospel work. Partnership engages our hearts, our intellect, and our helping hands. In Langham Preaching we’re rejoicing in and giving great thanks for the partnership of people we’ve prayed with and for from afar, worked and communicated with by e-mail, Zoom, WhatsApp and other means. But now, now, we meet face to face — Ghana to Austria, New Zealand to Peru, and soon to Turkey from around the globe. Thank you for your partnership with Langham Preaching whatever its form!

Please pray for the work in various places around the world

Hispanic Diaspora (Canada): Level Three seminars are planned for Toronto (Thursday until Saturday) and Montreal (Sunday until Tuesday)—with Álex Chiang, Cynthia Morris, Eynar Mina and Carluci Dos Santos as the facilitators. Fifteen participants are expected in Toronto, with another ten in Montreal. We are asked to pray that ‘the Hispanic minorities in Canada may hear the voice of God in their mother tongue … and that God may use the Hispanic churches in Canada as instruments of revival in the historic churches of this nation.

Administry: While this ministry is about nurturing movements of biblical preaching, it can only be as effective as those who give some of their time to administration, or administry. This week let’s ask the Lord ‘to fill them with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability and knowledge in all kinds of crafts’ (Ex 31.3)—Santi Widiastuty (Indonesia), Benji Stephen (India), Esteban Améstegui (Bolivia), Slavko Hadžić (Bosnia Herzegovina), Emeka Egbo (Nigeria), Sandra Abeyie (Ghana), Sonia Billong (Ghana), Sharon Watkinson (UK), Claire Bennett (UK) and Ruth Slater (UK).

Australia: The annual in-person meetings of Langham Partnership’s Senior Leadership Team, followed by the International Council go right through until Sunday, in Sydney. As always, there are weighty matters to consider. Pray especially for Tayo Arikawe (International Director), together with his Executive Assistant, Cindy Crossley—and Jill McGilvray (Chair of the Council)—as they guide the two groups through the week. As a member of this Leadership Team, Femi Adeleye (Director for Africa, Langham Preaching) is participating—as is Paul Windsor (Programme Director, Langham Preaching).

Thank-you for your faithfulness in this ministry of prayer.
