Thank you for your prayerful support for the work of Langham Preaching around the world. Here are the items for prayer in the week ahead.
Australia: A new door opens for Langham Preaching with a work starting this week among ‘first nations’ peoples. A Level 1 seminar for Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal) pastors is being facilitated by Rick Manton, Steve Etherington, Cliff Letcher and Stephen Williams (coordinator) in Cootamundra, NSW. Give thanks for the 15 pastors who are participating. Pray for a strong beginning for this significant initiative and, while you are praying, keep the early stages of a conversation about a similar work commencing across in Canada in your prayers as well.
Myanmar: Four seminars take place in two locations this week! (1) Up in the far north, in Putao, K. Pung Ram, Khaw San, Run Nuam Thang, and Phil Nicholson are facilitating Level 2 and 3 seminars for 30 participants. Phil asks that we pray that the participants are ‘able to share what they learn with others in their towns and villages.’ (2) Across in the far east, in Tachiliek, Slai Yaw Han, Khawng Lum and Sein Kyi are facilitating Level 2 and 3 seminars for 35 people. Sein Kye requests special prayer for Slai Yaw Han who is currently ill and that ‘we will be able to conduct the seminar well by the anointing of the Holy Spirit.’
Zambia: Chipita Sibale and Siseho Minyoi have travelled to Chipata to facilitate a Level 2 seminar for 50 people. Siseho asks that we pray for a fruitful time of learning how to preach faithfully from the Old Testament.
Mexico: A Level 3 seminar is to be facilitated by Alex Chiang and Dionisio Orjuela in Cuernavaca this week. They expect more than 60 participants from different cities. Please pray for ‘safety in travels, financial provision and the good assimilation of the teaching from the participants.’
Thanks for your prayers!
