Dear Friends

Thank you for your prayerful support for the work of Preaching around the world. Here are the items for prayer in the week ahead.

DR Congo: A Level 1 seminar takes place in Aru, with 28 participants from Watsa, Wanga, Adi and other areas up to 200km distant. Gordon Molyneux and Nzua Orionzi (coordinator), who are the facilitators, are grateful for God’s provision of a flight from Bunia to Aru. Pray that travel costs for the participants will also be provided.

Europe: Fifteen students from the Pentecostal Mission School, in Kiev, Ukraine, participate in a Level 1 seminar at the Bible Institute in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina (NB: they are in Mostar for one month of special classes). Slavko Hadzic (coordinator) asks us to pray that ‘the participants will adopt Langham Preaching principles and go home to form preaching clubs in their school in Ukraine.’

Ecuador: A graduation for those completing the three seminar levels and the training of new coordinators will be facilitated by Igor Amestegui (director) and Eduardo Vega (coordinator). The majority of the 31 new graduates will become coordinators of escuelitas/preaching clubs in locations throughout Ecuador.

Argentina: Villa María, in the province of Córdoba is the location for a Level 3 seminar to be facilitated by Anahí Alberti and Liliana Aleman. Wilfredo Weigandt (coordinator) requests prayer that the 17 participants will have a ‘positive experience of retreat and demonstrate healthy growth in their biblical exposition of the Psalms.’

Uganda: Give thanks for the upcoming visit of Femi Adeleye and Mercy Ireri to Kampala. They will meet with the coordinating team on Wednesday; with local facilitators and coordinators of preaching clubs on Thursday; and then with church leaders and friends of Langham on Friday. Barbara Tumwine asks us to pray that the meetings will be fruitful and that the idea of a national preaching movement will take root in peoples’ hearts and minds.

Thanks for your prayers!
